Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last twenty years, it’s quiet easy to see that the obesity epidemic in the US is out of control.

Sadly, our kids are the ones who will suffer the most! The most devastating part about all of this is that for the first time in history we are set to outlive our kids.

Please pause and let that sink in…We are set to outlive our kids.

As parents, we want the best for our kids, but sometimes we don’t have all the answers. We and our teens are plagued by the media’s massive attempt to confuse us about what is healthy and what is not. It’s easy not to know what path to send your teen down.

However…does that mean you should bury your head in the sand and act like this isn’t reality? No, of course not!

If you’re anything like me (and I’m guessing you are because you are taking the time to read this), you want the best for your kids. You want to give them every chance at being the best possible version of themselves.

You want them to be confident, to look good and more importantly, to feel good about who they are.

Does that mean they have to be a beach model? No.

What it means is that they know what they should eat everyday, it means they can control their weight, and they have all the tools and education they need to live a healthy, more fullfilled life without medication.

It means that they’ll know in 5, 10 or 15 years from now that mom and dad were trying to protect them and set them up for success.

It means that they’ll understand you were trying to protect them from the media’s vicious attempts to confuse them to make a quick buck!

Here’s the thing, many people go through life with poor eating habits which leads to poor health. This then leads to taking medication which results to an unhealthy life filled with discomfort and pain.

The sad thing is, teenage obesity is the new normal…

I’ve heard people say many times, “if only I knew how to eat healthy”, “if ONLY I knew how to workout correctly?”

Sadly, this is usually when they are already sick. It’s when they don’t feel good or they need to have surgery because they chose not to take control of their health when they had an opportunity or just simply did not know how.

Well, you as a parent have the opportunity and the responsibility to help your teens get an advantage in life. You have the opportunity to give them a leg up and help them get the education that schools aren’t teaching them.

Soon enough, it’s going to be time for them to leave the house. Teaching your children how to eat healthy and workout is one of the most important things you can do.

Here’s the thing, unfortunately our schools are not teaching our teens how to eat correctly so we’ve taken the inititive to help our teens break the cycle of poor eating habits and teenage obesity. Soon enough, it’s going to be time for them to leave the house and they’ll carry with them everything they’ve learned…everything. 

So if they’ve never learned how to eat correctly or workout, that is exactly what they will carry with them.

They’ll pass this onto their kids, your grandchildren and the cycle will continue.

But you can stop it, you can break the cycle! 

You literally have the power to change the course of how your teens’ life may end up and know that you did everything you possibly could to ensure they have all the tools to succeed and live in health!
